Most of us recently received emails from Annette and Linda with some good suggestions:
Annette passed along the sensible idea of having a card in one's wallet with basic information that would enable a rescuer to immediately know who we are, our chronic medical conditions and medication, and whom to call (kin and physician).
Linda's movie on thanking soldiers reminded me of an experience I had in Tallahassee. Some military people were leaving a restaurant just ahead of me. I acknowledged them. As Lane joined me and we walked out, I heard one say, "Oh, she wasn't an employee here!"
