If you had to leave before mid-afternoon, you missed the best entertainment: Patsy, Sandy and Melba sang for us and then Patsy and Melba relived their early college days at West Georgia.

Patsy's Confusion on Campus continues:
Melba: How was your date Saturday night?
Patsy: I didn't go.
Melba: I thought Chuck Brown had asked you out.
Patsy: He did, but he broke the date because I wasn't sick!
Melba: What do you mean he broke the date because you weren't sick?
Patsy: You knew he had been walking me from the student lounge back to the dorm almost every evening since the beginning of the quarter?
Melba: Yes, everyone has been talking about it. We thought you were lucky to have the attention of an upperclassman.
Patsy: Yes, I thought things were looking up, too. Then last Thursday evening he was walking me back to the dorm when he leaned down and said, "Honey, you are on the pill, aren't you?" I looked him straight in the eye and said, "No, I'm not taking pills. Do I look sick?"
Melba: What did he say?
Patsy: He said "Ah, you are so modest and sweet, and I can respect that, but they give the pills away downtown at the health department. I'll take you down there tomorrow if you want me to." Can you believe that?
Melba: That is a first for me!
Patsy: I told him that I would let him know when I was sick, but at that moment, I wasn't sick. I didn't need any pills, so he didn't need to take me downtown.
Melba: Did he understand that?
Patsy: Undoubtedly not! He said, "How old are you anyway?" I told him that I was eighteen and he said, "Eighteen going on thirteen?"
Melba: You're kidding!
Patsy: If I'm a lying, I'm a dying!
Melba: What did you do then?
Patsy: I said, "No, I'm not 13 going on 18, but I'm old enough to know not to take pills when I'm not sick."
Melba: What happened then?
Patsy: Then, he gave me this pitiful look and said, "Won't you do it for me? I'd like you to be my special girl."
Melba: What did you tell him?
Patsy: I told him that if being his special girl meant taking pills when I was not sick, then I didn't want to be his special girl.
Melba What did he say to that?
Patsy: He didn't say anything. He just walked away. I walked back to the dorm alone.
Melba: I'm sorry that things didn't work out for you. Did he ask someone else out for Staurday?
Patsy: He did! He came to the dorm and asked for Martha Wright. When she came down the stairs, I looked her up and down, and she didn't look a bit sick to me. They were all smiles and left arm-in-arm. It made me sick to my stomach!
Melba: Do you think she was on pills?
Patsy, No, I think she just lied to him about being on pills. Some girls will do anything to date an upperclassman.
