I don't remember going back for two days, but I remember the ice and snow. We were without electricity from Sunday to Wednesday, and big limbs fell all over the yard from the weight of the ice. We cooked on the fireplace.
What I remember about that "Ice Storm" was how difficult it was trying to ride my motorcycle up Piedmont Ave. Chains would have helped I suppose. Most folks around Rockmart thought I was missing "a fews screws" anyway.
